The Role

We’re looking for a Marketing Executive to support the delivery of our activities across our public sector markets. Someone who is looking for a stretching marketing role working alongside our business leadership and marketing team to deliver creative and compelling marketing that supports growth by developing deep relationships and engagement with senior individuals across the public sector. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a track record of delivering impactful B2B marketing. This role is based at our Head Office in Kingston Bagpuize, Oxfordshire, one day per week.

Your role as Marketing Executive

As Marketing Executive, you will play a pivotal role in our Public team working in partnership to deliver the following key responsibilities:

  • Deliver thought-provoking and engaging multi-channel marketing campaigns and activities to a high standard. 
  • Deliver communications activities for our large engagement programmes and strategic partnerships that are instrumental to our growth.  
  • Instrumental in delivering our events programme, with a focus on designing experiences and engagements which build and develop c-suite relationships. 
  • Coordinate and deliver our content including presentations for events, videos, case studies, award entries, and social media. 
  • Effectively collaborate with colleagues from across the business and marketing team to deliver high quality marketing activities. 
  • Work with business leaders to support with targeting opportunities, market research, proposals, tenders, and presentation decks for business development
  • Coordinate relationships with external agencies, including designers, printers, PR, social media and association memberships. 

Requirements
  • Degree preferred, although a CIM marketing qualification will be considered.  
  • Demonstrates marketing delivery experience.  
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail. 
  • Good project management and organisational skills. 
  • Knowledge of key business tools. 
  • Experience of coordinating high-quality in person and online events. 
  • Basic creative skills (design, visual storytelling, copywriting).  
  • Experience of supplier management. 
  • Demonstrates curiosity and passion, asking questions to build understanding. 
  • Personal drive and an eagerness for professional development in marketing and brand. 
  • Results-focused. 
  • Good collaboration skills, builds trust and rapport with colleagues and leaders. 
  • High performance standards across all activities / touch points. 
  • Shows an ability for self-reflection and self-awareness.
