I. Job Summary | Major goals
Bizrate Insights is seeking a Marketing Director to champion our marketing efforts, with a primary focus on building and converting organic traffic. The ideal candidate will be an expert in iterating and implementing comprehensive content strategies, managing social media channels, public relations, and SEO. This is a hands-on role that requires a blend of creativity, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of digital marketing trends and consumer behavior. SaaS experience is preferred; ecommerce industry knowledge is required.
II. Essential Job Functions | Accountabilities, Actions and Expected Measurable Results
- Marketing Strategy - Design, implement, and iterate on comprehensive marketing strategies that showcase Bizrate Insights' first-party ecommerce data and insights.
- Content Strategy - Work with the VP of Marketing to implement a data-first content strategy that increases traffic, generates qualified leads, and powers MQL lead pipelines for product-led growth (PLG) conversion and sales outreach.
- Messaging - Review and edit all collateral to ensure the team is aligned and clearly communicating our value proposition to attract prospects and retain current clients.
- Social Media - Oversee the company's social media profiles and presence by developing engaging content and campaigns that both support our position and resonate with our target audience. Monitor social trends, analyze performance metrics, and adapt strategies as needed.
- SEO Optimization - Develop and implement SEO strategies that increase organic traffic by conducting keyword research, optimizing website content, and monitoring performance directly or in conjunction with third-party resources.
- Platform Management - Understand and manage our Hubspot email platform in conjunction with the Salesforce CRM to build content sequences and landing pages, as well as measure performance.
- Public Relations - Manage media relations and develop strategies that enhance the company's public image, including coordination with PR agencies and overseeing press releases, interviews, and media events.
- Partnership Development - Identify and establish strategic partnerships across the industry to collaborate on joint marketing initiatives that expand our market reach.
- Leadership - Support the Marketing VP by helping to lead the marketing team, in collaboration with cross-functional teams, to align marketing strategies and achieve collective goals.
III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All must be met to be considered.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field; Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Experience/Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- 7-10 years of extensive marketing experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field; Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Hands-on experience using Hubspot and Salesforce to develop and deliver targeted marketing campaigns; other email service providers a plus.
- Highly developed writing and editing skills, with experience crafting content for a B2B audience
- Robust understanding and passion for marketing campaigns tailored for eCommerce and B2B audiences.
- Proven acumen in audience identification and engagement.
- Deep familiarity with current and emerging marketing trends, especially in content and social media spheres related to eCommerce.
- Superior project management skills, strategic foresight, and attention to detail.
- Comfort and experience with working as a part of a team comprised of cross-functional stakeholders as well as agency and freelance content creators.
- Previous experience in the eCommerce or retail sector is a must.
Travel Required (Approximate): 5-10%

Pay Range
Salary: $93,000 - $130,000
The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Dotdash Meredith's total compensation package for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives.
