Austin, TX (Hybrid)

At Signpost, we’re building the operating system for home service businesses. Starting with communication and expanding into scheduling, invoicing, payments, AI automation, and more.

Our customers are blue-collar business owners (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, and beyond) who didn’t start a business to chase missed calls or juggle five different apps. They started to serve customers and build something meaningful. We help them take control of their day.

We’re growing and looking for an experienced Marketing Designer who can bring our product, brand, and campaigns to life. This is a hybrid role based in Austin, TX, with in-office collaboration balanced with focused remote work.

This isn’t just about creating graphics. It’s about shaping how small business owners understand, trust, and adopt our platform. If you love turning complex ideas into clear, compelling visuals that drive real business impact, we’d love to meet you.

Who You Are
  • An experienced and strategic designer who understands that great design drives pipeline, adoption, and trust not just aesthetics
  • A strong visual storyteller who can translate complex AI-powered products into simple, compelling narratives for home service business owners
  • Comfortable in a scrappy, fast-moving startup environment you test, learn, iterate, and aren’t afraid to pivot
  • Proactive and collaborative, excited to work cross-functionally and contribute in person with the Austin team
  • Systems-minded you build scalable templates and brand consistency rather than one-off assets
Desirable Experience
  • Three to five years of experience in marketing design, ideally within SMB space
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating paid ads, landing pages, product marketing assets, and sales collateral
  • Experience designing performance-driven creative and understanding how visuals impact conversion
  • Basic front-end implementation skills (HTML/CSS) or experience directly building pages in Webflow or similar tools is essential 
  • Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Suite 
  • Experience supporting product launches and go-to-market campaigns
  • Bonus: Experience in home services, FSM, AI-powered products, or communication technology
What You’ll Do
  • Design and execute campaign creative across paid social, Google Ads, landing pages, email, and webinars
  • Support product launches with launch decks, one-pagers, case studies, sales enablement materials, and feature explainers
  • Create partnership and event materials that elevate our brand
  • Maintain and evolve brand standards while ensuring consistency across all marketing and sales touchpoints
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure visuals align with positioning and customer pain points
  • Build scalable templates in design program to empower broader team execution

Interview Process
  1. 15-20 minute intro call with recruiting
  2. 30-minute conversation with our VP of GTM to discuss your background, this role and the company
  3. 30-minute cross-functional discussion with Marketing and Product stakeholders
  4. Final values interview
  5. Short work assignment
  6. Reference checks
