Job Title: Data Analyst
The Data Analyst works hand in hand with the Paid Media and SEO departments to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our client services teams and to clearly quantify performance objectives by maintaining existing reporting suites, creating new methods of reporting, and automating repetitive tasks.
Job Duties:
Work with account teams to create custom reports for high value clients that focus on their unique KPIs and reporting needs.
Create beautiful, insightful, and actionable dashboards for all clients in Microsoft Power BI, Excel, and Google Sheets.
Use existing web-based tools to query data from sources (Adwords, Facebook, Bing, LinkedIn, etc.) and assist in developing new tools for pulling data from other sources (LinkedIn web scraping, CRMs, etc)
Automate reports using Power BI, SQL, and formulas & pivot tables in GoogleSheets.
Define and successfully deploy processes to reduce manual lift and avoid fault points.
Interpreting data presented in platforms such as GoogleAnalytics, Google Ads, and Facebook Ads and applying understanding as to what is happening with performance.
Understand metrics like impressions, clicks, CTR, conversions, CVR, ROAS, Click-through vs. View-through, attribution windows and modes, path to conversion, A/B testing, etc
Adheres to administrative deadlines (timesheet submittal, other general office duties) and is responsive to accounting and other administrative staff when called upon to provide information.

Communicates clearly and effectively in written or oral form with colleagues and with clients, as needed.
Project Management Duties
Streamlining project management process, documenting around account team FAQs, and iterating upon our BI internal documentation.
Manages entire projects with oversight from senior team members, and manages individual tasks independently.
Anticipates potential challenges and possible solutions and communicates these to colleagues.
Meets internal and external deadlines, providing extra effort as needed.
Demonstrates awareness of schedules related to their own work tasks.

Minimum Qualifications:
4-year Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, MIS, analytics, data science, business intelligence, or a related field is required
4+ years of experience utilizing tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms. (Power BI greatly preferred.)
4+ years of SQL experience
3+ years of experience in marketing-related analytics. (PPC, SEM and SEO marketing analytics)
Advanced knowledge of Excel formulas, Pivot Tables, and Macros.
Experience with Microsoft Azure Platform is a plus
Experience with scripting languages is a plus.
Proficiency in Google Analytics.
Excellent mathematical, problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Experience with HTML/Javascript/CSS is a plus
Detail-oriented, organized, and professional
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Reporting and Supervision: Reports to the Director of Analytics.
Exemption: This position is considered Exempt from the overtime and minimum wage protections of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
