Job Summary: 

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the development and execution of marketing campaigns, fan engagement initiatives, and promotional programs that create memorable experiences and deepen connections between fans and the Sacramento Kings brand. This role supports a diverse portfolio of programs, including youth and fan affinity programs, theme nights and in-arena entertainment, loyalty initiatives, and Social Impact & Inclusion marketing efforts. 

Working closely with Marketing, Creative, and departments across the organization, the Coordinator helps bring innovative campaigns and memorable experiences to life. The ideal candidate is a creative, organized, and detail-oriented marketer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about engaging fans and the community. 


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and execute marketing plans for fan engagement programs, including Kids Club, Jr. Kings, the First Game Program, and Kids Dance Clinics. 

  • Manage program communications, promotional campaigns, website content, and member engagement initiatives that drive participation, retention, and overall program growth.  

  • Coordinate fan-facing experiences, sweepstakes and promotional programs that enhance the Sacramento Kings fan experience. 

  • Support theme night, giveaway, loyalty, and rewards initiatives through project management, marketing communications, and campaign execution. 

  • Partner with the Social Impact & Inclusion team to support marketing and creative needs for community programs and events throughout the year. 

  • Provide marketing support for Entertainment team initiatives, including the Sacramento Kings Dancers, Slamson, performance teams, theme nights, and other in-arena entertainment. 

  • Collaborate with the Creative team to develop and traffic marketing assets while ensuring projects are delivered on time and aligned with brand standards. 

  • Draft, proofread, and distribute game day marketing deliverables, including emails to attendees, promotional reads, and other communications. 

  • Coordinate vendor relationships, ordering, and fulfillment processes as needed. 

  • Track project timelines, manage stakeholder communications, and assist with reporting to measure performance and inform future initiatives. 

  • Support additional marketing initiatives and special projects as assigned.  


Requirements / Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. 

  • 1-3 years full-time experience in marketing, fan engagement, promotions, or related roles within professional sports, entertainment, consumer brands, or agencies. 

  • Experience executing integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, email, traditional, and out-of-home channels. 

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, and deadlines simultaneously.  

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail. 

  • Highly organized, proactive, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships across departments and with external partners. 

  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays, and game days as required.  


Total compensation & offer package will include the following: 


  • Base Salary: $45,000 - $50,000

Skills Required
