The Role

Summary
The Primary focus of the Marketing Coordinator is to build strategic alliances on behalf of Peachtree Orthopedics with targeted primary care providers, urgent care centers, key businesses, sports entities, and other referral organizations. The goal of building these relationships is to expand awareness of Peachtree Orthopedics offerings and competitive differentiators. Success for Marketing Coordinator will be measured by the number of strategic alliances that are built and a direct increase in number of patients seen from the target referral sources.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Understand the Peachtree Orthopedics brand and offerings comprehensively.
  • Work with marketing team to develop a strong strategic alliance contact database.
  • Develop relationships with referring physician groups to understand their needs and acquaint them with Peachtree Orthopedics.
  • Build trust in and preference for Peachtree Orthopedics as the top of mind referral by referring physician groups.
  • Provide educational seminars to referring physicians and staff with the marketing team.
  • Create opportunities to provide Physician presence on sidelines at sporting events.
  • Create opportunities to sponsor sporting and other community sports-related events.
  • Coordinate scheduling with Athletic Trainer Certified to ensure coverage at sponsored events.
  • Provide educational presentations to staff and parents on relevant sports-injury topics.
  • Provide Saturday morning clinics (at offices or schools/organizations/rec departments).
  • Help coordinate and provide sports performance testing services.
  • Utilize promotional products to increase name recognition.
  • Help coordinate and provide CME presentation to referring physician groups with Marketing Team.
  • Utilize social media to post about Peachtree Orthopedics in real-time.
  • Help prepare for involvement in community organizations and events.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Marketing experience with excellent written and verbal communication.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and MS PowerPoint Processing software. Computer, email, internet, and mobile-device savvy.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Must have reliable transportation and the ability to work nights and weekend as applicable depending on sporting/other event support.
