Summary Generated by Built In

The Marketing Coordinator handles recurring marketing production for the Freshwater and Saltwater brand portfolios: website updates, brochures and spec sheets, blog posts, dealer newsletters, social media content calendars, photo and video shoot coordination, and advertising claims tracking and digital ad approval. The role reports jointly to the Director, Marketing Freshwater Division and the Director, Marketing Saltwater Division, taking on delegated project work from either leader and tracking status in Monday.com so both Directors have shared visibility into in-flight work.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Content & Project Execution Coordination

  • Coordinate recurring content and digital execution work delegated by either Director, including brand website updates, brochures and spec sheets, merchandising, blog posts, dealer newsletters, and social media content calendars for the Freshwater and Saltwater brands.
  • Maintain master project plans and go-to-market timelines for product launches and model-year changeovers across both freshwater and saltwater lines.
  • Develop creative briefs for campaigns, product launches, and photo/video projects; route through the relevant Line Marketing Director for brand-specific approval.
  • Coordinate photo and video shoot logistics (scheduling, on-site logistics, and asset delivery) and support boat show and dealer meeting prep checklists.
  • Keep project status current in Monday.com so both Directors have shared visibility into in-flight work.

Cross-COE & Director Support

  • Sequence competing requests from the two Directors and escalate prioritization conflicts rather than resolving them independently.
  • Support ongoing GTM planning by consolidating COE inputs, timelines, and deliverables for Director review.
  • Follow up with COE leads to confirm deliverables are on schedule and flag risks early.

Partner & Vendor Coordination

  • Act as the day-to-day coordination point between Marketing COEs, Sales, Product Management, and external partners such as agencies, vendors, and dealer contacts.
  • Coordinate meeting logistics, timelines, and deliverable hand-offs between internal teams and outside partners, and track vendor and agency action items to keep both sides accountable.

Digital Asset & Claims Management

  • Manage the advertising claims tracker and Approved Claims Library, routing claims to Legal for review and reviewing and approving digital ads before launch per the Advertising Claims Substantiation Process.
  • Manage brand messaging documentation to keep all related product and brand messages updated and accurate.
  • Maintain current product images and videos in the digital asset management (DAM) system.
  • Keep the co-op asset library current in Brand Beacon, MBI’s dealer co-op advertising platform.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain organized records of project plans, approvals, budget inputs, and status history for auditability and reuse.
  • Compile recap materials and status summaries following major launches, campaigns, or events for both Directors’ review.
