Position Overview

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for expanding the reach of O'Keefe Media Group's flagship shows, On the Inside and My Price is My Life, through compelling short-form video content and strategic digital marketing campaigns. This role will edit and publish high-performing social media clips, reels, and promotional content while executing both organic and paid marketing initiatives designed to increase viewership, grow audience engagement, and convert viewers into paid subscribers.

The ideal candidate understands how to identify compelling moments from long-form content, optimize them for each platform, and use data-driven marketing strategies to build loyal audiences across YouTube, X, Instagram, Facebook, and other emerging platforms.

Responsibilities
  • Edit engaging short-form video clips, reels, trailers, and promotional content from On the Inside and My Price is My Life for distribution across all social media platforms.
  • Identify compelling moments from live streams and podcasts that maximize audience engagement and sharing.
  • Publish and optimize content using platform-specific best practices for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, X, and other digital platforms.
  • Develop and execute organic social media campaigns that increase impressions, engagement, followers, and watch time.
  • Plan and manage paid digital advertising campaigns focused on audience growth, podcast promotion, and paid subscription acquisition.
  • Create compelling marketing copy, thumbnails, headlines, and calls-to-action that increase click-through rates and viewer retention.
  • Collaborate with hosts, producers, editors, and leadership to promote investigations, interviews, podcasts, documentaries, merchandise, and special events.
  • Analyze audience analytics and campaign performance to continually improve content strategy and marketing effectiveness.
  • Track key performance indicators including views, watch time, engagement, subscriber growth, paid subscription conversions, and return on advertising spend.
  • Stay current on social media algorithms, emerging platforms, audience trends, and digital marketing best practices.
  • Assist in developing marketing initiatives that strengthen the O'Keefe Media Group brand and expand its digital presence.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of professional experience in social media marketing, digital marketing, content creation, or video editing.
  • Demonstrated experience editing engaging short-form video content for social media platforms.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro..
  • Strong understanding of YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, and podcast marketing strategies.
  • Experience creating paid and organic social media campaigns with measurable results.
  • Ability to identify viral or high-performing moments from long-form interviews, podcasts, and live broadcasts.
  • Excellent writing, communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting marketing metrics and audience data.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in journalism, news media, podcasting, documentary production, or creator-led media.
  • Experience growing subscription-based businesses, memberships, or digital communities.
  • Familiarity with YouTube Studio, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, email marketing platforms, and social media management tools.
  • Experience running paid advertising campaigns on Meta, YouTube, Google, or X.
  • Passion for investigative journalism, independent media, and storytelling that drives public accountability.
