About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team to manage social media and coordinate marketing initiatives, including digital media and promotional activations, focusing on both awareness and customer acquisition.

You will focus on:
  • Support the organic social media presence in the US across Instagram, Facebook, and X

  • Adapt MUBI's brand identity and social voice for the local market, maintaining an engaged and active relationship with followers.

  • Establish and maintain an organized calendar/schedule for posts and content development.

  • Analyze and evaluate the quality of social content, posting strategy, and consumer engagement, providing regular performance reports/assessments to the larger team.

  • Conceptualize creative assets, both video and design, to be utilized across both organic and paid social channels.

  • Manage the process of monitoring and responding to social feedback

  • Assist in delivering high-performing assets for paid media campaigns and coordinate asset delivery across various partner relationships.

  • Liaise with key social media influencers to amplify MUBI's brand presence in collaboration with the global brand team.

  • Support local marketing initiatives through designated campaigns aimed at promoting and elevating MUBI's curation and content.

  • Assist with executing promotions aimed to maximize subscriber acquisition and increase brand exposure in the US, including wide-reaching email campaigns, outreach activities, and more

  • Coordinate asset delivery with external partners

  • Support team with planning, execution, and management of a range of partnerships including film institutions, festivals, arts organizations, universities and supported devices/platforms

  • An expert and passionate film lover with in-depth knowledge of cinema and international arthouse and independent films.

  • Highly tech-savvy digital enthusiast.

  • Fast learner who is eager to dive into tasks and thrives in a fast-paced culture.

  • Impeccable attention to detail.

  • Creative thinker, willing to look beyond easy answers to find the best solution to any problem.

  • Ability to multi-task and comfortable working in an unstructured environment.

  • A team player with a can-do attitude and an entrepreneurial mindset.

  • 1-3 years of related marketing/social media experience.

  • Experience managing social media for a brand or organization.

  • Expert understanding of trends in the ever-changing digital/media landscape.

  • Ability to determine KPIs, evaluate campaign effectiveness, and optimize accordingly.

  • Proficiency in Photoshop and Premiere is essential.

  • Strong writing and copywriting skills are required.

  • Video editing skills are a plus.
