Role overview
This role is ideal for a graphic designer with a strong sense of layout and visual storytelling, who is also capable of producing short motion graphics and video edits to support project case studies and communications.
You will work in close coordination with our internal Cairo-based team and the client’s marketing direction in Canada. The content is 100% francophone and must follow brand guidelines.
Key responsibilities
- Design and layout of graphics for web, social media, and internal communications (primarily in French)
- Create visual templates and adapt brand assets for multiple platforms
- Edit and produce short videos (1–2 minutes) for case studies, project summaries, and internal presentations
- Develop simple motion design content (intro/outro animations, transitions, titles)
- Apply and maintain visual coherence and brand standards across all media
- Ensure final files are optimized for the intended platform (LinkedIn, PDF, video, etc.)
Required skills
- Excellent written French (for working with text-based layouts)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in graphic design and/or motion design
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro)
- Good command of Canva Pro for fast content creation
- Experience in producing corporate visuals, ideally in engineering, consulting, or architecture contexts
- Strong sense of layout structure, typography, color balance, and visual hierarchy
- Ability to work independently, manage feedback rounds, and deliver on tight deadlines
- Good understanding of video editing formats and publishing standards
Nice to have
- Experience designing French-language LinkedIn campaigns or carousels
- Knowledge of North American public-sector visual culture is an asset
- Ability to propose visual improvements to existing templates and systems
