About the role:
The Consumer Marketing Team at TMB is looking for an Associate Marketing Manager. This position will report to the Senior Marketing Manager and be responsible for Book & Magazine Direct Mail/Print campaign setup, execution and analytics; and admin functions as needed. 
About you:
The ideal candidate for this role is able to juggle multiple projects at once and has an analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills and deep understanding of direct marketing principles. In addition, you possess a collaborative spirit and have strong presentation and communication skills and thrive on an opportunity to present to senior leadership and build relationships.
Your day-to-day:
  • Work with manager to set up and execute the names selection of print campaigns, provide campaign reporting, and manage the campaign timeline.
  • Prepare campaign/weekly results reporting as needed.
  • Perform independent campaign analysis and performance tracking, creating hypotheses and optimization opportunities for future campaigns, looking into trends and identifying potential discrepancies and errors.
  • Approve material cost sheets vs budget, flagging discrepancies
  • Proactively identify and evaluate new campaign opportunities and convert them into short-term or long-term projects.
  • Collaborate actively with broader marketing, database and data teams to ensure successful campaign execution.
  • Participate in departmental or cross-team meetings to communicate results and issues.
  • Execute reporting using advanced media valuation analysis and calculations in Microsoft Excel, using functions such as pivot tables, vlookups, IF formulas and data filters.
You have:
  • BA (Marketing or Business Administration) required
  • 2-3+ years’ experience in Consumer Marketing as an analyst or marketer. 
  • Prior media and/or subscription experience is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with campaign performance analytics such as but not limited to variance to plan analysis, Indices / test result analysis and Profit / LTV analysis.
  • Problem-solving skills, with an exceptional ability to digest new information, master new techniques and translate knowledge to others in a fast-paced environment
  • An ability to prioritize and organize issues / projects for self, internal team, and external partners
  • An attention to detail and a great number sense
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as presentation skills
  • Experience in any BI tool a plus
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft suite of products, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
