Weiss Asset Management (WAM), a Boston-based investment firm, is seeking a Marketing Director to join our Investor Relations team. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset and should be self-motivated, resilient, and personable. We are looking for someone who can quickly learn our business, identify high-quality prospective investors, and build meaningful relationships across various seniority levels.
Extensive travel is required.
5+ years of previous experience in investment sales/marketing is essential.
Base salary: $135,000-$200,000 + bonus
Responsibilities:
Design and implement strategies to connect with high-quality prospective investors and expand our network.
Increase brand awareness and market presence over time to strengthen relationships with potential investors.
Represent the firm at conferences and social events, building relationships and scheduling follow-up meetings.
Cultivate relationships with existing investors to ensure continuity in relationship management
Research and analyze market intelligence to gain insights into competitors.
