The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Molton Brown Marketing team and gain valuable insight and experience within the beauty industry. As the Marketing Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the UK & Ireland Marketing and PR team. Assisting with marketing initiatives and activations, supporting the Molton Brown stores and outlets and helping with the creation of marketing and PR materials.
What you will do:
PR & Media
- Work alongside the team and PR agency on day to day planning and execution of PR, media and influencer strategy
- Support in the delivery of the awards strategy & execution and assist with sampling plans
- Support the team with PR and influencer event planning and realisation
- Assist with media briefs including briefing to creative and supplying tracking links
- Assisting with the briefing and creation of press releases, working alongside internal global & wholesale teams
- Assist with influencer partnerships activity including ordering product & providing tracking links
- Work alongside the PR agency and retail teams on PR and influencer plans in support of store refits/openings and trade plans
Campaign Activation
- Work alongside team to define and deliver best-in-class in-store eventing and campaign activations
- Work on creative briefs & artwork requests with creative and VM teams, contribute to implementation packs and provide supporting POS materials for SAS stores and outlets
- Brief shopping centre & outlet creative assets, manage on-going communications with centre teams alongside asset send outs in support of trade and footfall objectives
- Ensure effective competitor tracking and competitor event attendance & report back
- Provide ad hoc support for SAS stores and Outlets
Admin
- Support the team with administrative tasks such as PO raising, product orders and courier bookings
- Manage the marketing email inbox
- Assist with the briefing and creation of all marketing and PR materials (in store and digital) alongside briefing VM displays for stores
- Responsible for the creation of the weekly marketing report, working cross functionally with internal teams
- Supporting with internal campaign reporting, competitor analysis and marketing research
What you need:
- Prior work experience in administration or marketing is advantageous
- A passion for the premium beauty/fragrance industry, keenly following the latest trends
- Ability to work well under pressure within a fast-paced environment
- Highly organised and able to multi-task
- A team player who can collaborate effectively
- High levels of accuracy and a keen eye for detail
- Demonstrates a pro-active can do attitude and flexible approach
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
