Summary

The Marketing Assistant will assist the Marketing Department with all communication functions that support the entire Health System, in accordance with the philosophy, goals, and objectives of the Cozad Community Health System.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides general administrative and project support to the Director of Marketing, including managing timelines and tracking project progress.
  • Designs and produces marketing materials across multiple channels, including print, digital, and on-site media.
  • Assists in executing integrated marketing campaigns using established annual and monthly content plans.
  • Creates, formats, and updates content for the website, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.
  • Collaborates with internal departments to gather information, ensure accuracy, and obtain approvals for marketing materials and communications.
  • Supports planning and execution of community outreach events, including logistics, promotional materials and communications.
  • Maintains brand consistency across all materials in alignment with organizational guidelines.
  • Contributes fresh, creative ideas for campaigns.
  • Monitors and reports on marketing performance by pulling analytics from digital platforms.
  • Organizes and maintains marketing files, templates, and assets for efficient team use.
  • Follows all HIPAA guidelines and promotes and ensures patient safety.
  • Fulfills mission statement by performing job duties with a high level of customer service while contributing to a positive and professional environment.
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education and/or Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communication, or Public Relations preferred. Computer experience in Word, Excel, Canva, and PowerPoint required. Marketing experience preferred. Ability to work collaboratively, strong communication skills, and ability to adapt quickly to new tools, platforms, and processes are required.

Licensure/Certification

Basic Life Support (CPR)

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office environment. The noise level in the office environment is usually moderate.
