Marketing Assistant (Student Assistant)

Responsibilities:

• Primary:
• Creation, management, and updating of the Marketing team status report and facilitation of weekly meetings on behalf of the team.
• Lead qualification: helping qualify inbound leads in CRM before handover to the sales team. This will involve making sure they reach target customer criteria through web research.
• CRM admin: helping with setup and running of marketing campaigns through the scoping, production, and upload of target lists, and CRM management/cleansing as leads populate the funnel.
• Management and oversight of events calendar alongside the existing marketing executive: including ticketing, stand builds, collateral creation, and sales support (and sometimes, travel).
• Creation and mailout of customer communications through Inpay’s marketing automation system (Hubspot).
• Website: updates, CMS management, landing page production, copy and image updates, upload of blogs, articles, and associated media to the insights section of inpay.com.




• Secondary:
• Supporting the wider team on:
• Ad-hoc support of the wider marketing team as and when needed.
• Social media: calendar creation, asset creation, and activation across core Inpay accounts.
• Assistance in the creation of sales assets and sales enablement collateral: presentations, RFP responses, credentials decks, and exec-level presentations. When needed, using external design and digital agencies.
• Assistance in the creation of SEO content, blogs, and web copy.
• Campaign activation – paid and organic/cross-media.
• Paid media activation (if applicable) – online display and sponsorship.
• Support of the People team in the creation of employee branding assets – online and internal.

Qualifications:

• Years of Experience: 0-2 years (internships and part-time).
• Professional Skills:
• A Masters student or similar preferred.
• Experience as an intern or part-time in a marketing department preferred.
• Preferable: Experience using CRMs, marketing automation platforms, content management systems (WordPress or similar), Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Social media (and LinkedIn) native.
• Personal Skills:
• Self-starter – willing to get stuck in.
• Highly organized – ability to help coordinate large events with multiple stakeholders.
• People skills – confidence to interface with multiple departments at all levels, and ability to build relationships.
• Adaptable – ability to work at pace across multiple projects.
• Interest in developing a career in marketing.
• An interest in design, copy, and brand.
