On Earth, we are pioneering molecular and bio-farming, boosting production of nutrients, metabolites and bioactive compounds in plants while providing a sustainable and safe source of plant materials. Our customers are large beauty, perfume, natural ingredients, food&beverage and neutraceuticals companies.
To advance space exploration, we work with space agencies and private companies and provide them bio-farming units to grow efficiently food for astronaut and/or conduct research on impact of microgravity on plant molecular composition.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Marketing and Communication Manager to lead and coordinate a small but dedicated team. You will be responsible for overseeing our press relations, managing events, running impactful marketing campaigns, and elevating our social media presence. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the public face of an innovative company that is redefining the future of life on Earth and beyond
- Manage and mentor a team of three marketing and communication professionals, fostering a collaborative and creative environment.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, ensuring consistent and strategic coverage of Interstellar Lab's mission, products, and innovations.
- Plan and execute both virtual and in-person events, including product launches, conferences, and public outreach initiatives.
- Design and implement comprehensive marketing campaigns that align with company goals, engage our audience, and drive brand awareness.
- Oversee all social media channels, ensuring consistent, compelling content that grows our following and amplifies our brand voice across platforms.
- Collaborate with internal teams to maintain and strengthen Interstellar Lab’s brand identity, ensuring consistency across all communications.
- Analyze campaign performance and adjust strategies as needed to optimize results, providing regular reports to senior management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in marketing and communications, with a proven track record in managing press relations, events, and campaigns.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing small teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in social media management tools and digital marketing strategies.
- Creative thinker with a strong eye for detail and the ability to translate technical concepts into compelling narratives.
- Experience working in a technology-driven company, space industry, or sustainability sector is a plus.
