About Augment

Augment is a software infrastructure company building the Robinhood for private markets. We are creating a modern platform that enables investors to access and trade shares in leading pre-IPO companies through a technology-driven experience.

We operate at the intersection of software, brokerage, and private markets. Our platform is designed to make private market investing more accessible, efficient, and technology-native.

The role

As Augment's Marketing Analyst, you will be a hands-on generalist on a small marketing team with two clear centers of gravity: social media and paid media.

We are a four-person department marketing a category we are creating. That means the work is broad and it moves. In a given week you might be writing and scheduling a week of social posts, briefing our media agency on new ad creative, pulling a campaign report, routing a blog through compliance, and helping plan an event for a product launch. If you want a narrow lane, this isn't it. If you want to touch every part of a marketing function at a company that is scaling, this is the role for you.

You will work directly with the Marketing Manager and closely with the CMO, our Editorial Lead, our Designer, and our media and creative vendors.

Responsibilities🧑‍💻 You will:

Serve as the media & ad operations liaison

  • Support in day-to-day communication with our media agency across Google Search, Google PMax, Meta, and Reddit

  • Traffic creative between the design, editorial, and media teams — make sure the right asset is briefed, produced, approved, and live

  • Assist with updating the marketing budget and spend

  • Maintain the creative library and naming conventions so we can actually report on what ran

Support in reporting & insight generation

  • Own the generation of the monthly marketing report: gather channel inputs, help build decks, and report on team progress

  • Own the weekly social report — performance by channel, against our goals

  • Own the weekly competitive report and analysis

Support in compliance operations

  • Own submissions into our Compliance Review process in Asana: submit, monitor status, resolve change requests, chase approvals

  • Be the marketing department's point of contact with Compliance and Legal on routine reviews

  • Keep the approval archive accurate and audit-ready

  • Track which claims, disclosures, and creative are approved and where they're cleared to run

Provide copy & publishing support

  • Write day-to-day copy where the editorial lead needs backup — landing pages, ad headlines, social posts, emails — to a standard that ships without a rewrite

  • Publish and format content across Webflow, Ordinal, and Customer.io

Assist in project & vendor coordination

  • Support merch and print vendor cycles: mockup rounds, proofs, sizing, sample tracking, and fulfillment

  • Support event logistics for conferences and company events, including RSVP, check-in, and on-site coverage

Support and run the social media accounts

  • Support the editorial lead in managing the social calendar across LinkedIn, X, Reddit, Instagram/Meta, and YouTube — building the queue, scheduling in Ordinal, and keeping us a week ahead

  • Chase execs for approval, monitor comments and mentions, own a weekly social report

  • Coordinate short-form video production from shoot through publish

You will be the right hand to the Marketing Manager

  • Take work off the Marketing Manager's plate as you earn it, and hold it

⏳ You're first 90 days might look like:
  • Taking over queue management and scheduling across all channels — including Instagram and Facebook, which are currently unstaffed — and keep us a rolling two weeks ahead

  • Supporting day-to-day communication with our paid media vendor and running the next paid creative refresh from brief to live

  • Supplying the per-channel performance analysis that feeds the Marketing Manager's channel strategies

  • Owning the weekly competitive report and redesign it so it tells us something we'd act on

  • Taking over the monthly marketing report

🧠 You'd fit in well if:
  • You're a builder, not a specialist. You'd rather learn four things well than one thing perfectly, and you don't say "that's not my job."

  • You can write. Not a copywriter, but you can draft a social post, an ad headline, or an email that ships without a rewrite.

  • You have real taste. You can look at a post, an ad, or a page and tell whether it's good and say why.

  • You tell people early. When something is going to be late or you're blocked, you say so as soon as you know, not on the due date.

📋 Qualifications

Required

  • 2–5 years in marketing — agency, in-house, or both

  • Hands-on experience running social media for a brand, and hands-on experience with or adjacent to paid media

  • Strong writing and genuine attention to detail — you can draft a landing page, an ad headline, or an email that ships without a rewrite

  • Comfort managing external vendors and holding them to deadlines

  • A track record of owning work without daily supervision

Bonus

  • Fintech, financial services, or another regulated industry

  • Direct experience in Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, or Reddit Ads

  • Familiarity with our stack: Asana, Ordinal, Beehiiv, Webflow, Customer.io, Canva, Airtable

  • Video production or editing experience

  • Working knowledge of FINRA/SEC marketing rules

  • Comfort using AI tools to move faster

🏄‍♂️ Benefits
  • Competitive salary

  • Meaningful equity in an early-stage high growth company

  • 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees

  • Hybrid in-office in Austin. Some travel for events.
