Augment is a software infrastructure company building the Robinhood for private markets. We are creating a modern platform that enables investors to access and trade shares in leading pre-IPO companies through a technology-driven experience.
We operate at the intersection of software, brokerage, and private markets. Our platform is designed to make private market investing more accessible, efficient, and technology-native.
The roleAs Augment's Marketing Analyst, you will be a hands-on generalist on a small marketing team with two clear centers of gravity: social media and paid media.
We are a four-person department marketing a category we are creating. That means the work is broad and it moves. In a given week you might be writing and scheduling a week of social posts, briefing our media agency on new ad creative, pulling a campaign report, routing a blog through compliance, and helping plan an event for a product launch. If you want a narrow lane, this isn't it. If you want to touch every part of a marketing function at a company that is scaling, this is the role for you.
You will work directly with the Marketing Manager and closely with the CMO, our Editorial Lead, our Designer, and our media and creative vendors.

Taking over the monthly marketing report
You're a builder, not a specialist. You'd rather learn four things well than one thing perfectly, and you don't say "that's not my job."
You can write. Not a copywriter, but you can draft a social post, an ad headline, or an email that ships without a rewrite.
You have real taste. You can look at a post, an ad, or a page and tell whether it's good and say why.
You tell people early. When something is going to be late or you're blocked, you say so as soon as you know, not on the due date.
Required
2–5 years in marketing — agency, in-house, or both
Hands-on experience running social media for a brand, and hands-on experience with or adjacent to paid media
Strong writing and genuine attention to detail — you can draft a landing page, an ad headline, or an email that ships without a rewrite
Comfort managing external vendors and holding them to deadlines
A track record of owning work without daily supervision
Bonus
Fintech, financial services, or another regulated industry
Direct experience in Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, or Reddit Ads

Working knowledge of FINRA/SEC marketing rules
Comfort using AI tools to move faster

Meaningful equity in an early-stage high growth company
100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees
Hybrid in-office in Austin. Some travel for events.
