About the role:
The Market President role is a dynamic leadership opportunity responsible for driving business growth and fostering a collaborative, high-performing team culture. In addition to leading business development initiatives by proactively growing and managing a commercial book of business—with a particular emphasis on developing and deepening Commercial & Industrial (C&I) relationships—the position is also accountable for attracting, developing, and retaining top talent to ensure regional success in a competitive market.
What you’ll do:
- Collaborate with the Executive team to define, review, and communicate in-market strategic objectives, leading key initiatives that align with organizational priorities and the achievement of the Bank’s overall business plan.
- Champion the Bank’s services through proactive marketing, networking, and referral efforts to drive brand awareness and customer engagement, leading the business development initiatives through personal success in self-sourcing new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
- Drive regional growth, development, and profitability by overseeing Commercial Lending and Treasury Management activities as well as providing direct leadership for these teams within your market(s).
- Oversee your own Commercial portfolio and ensure the credit quality of direct reports' portfolios, collaborating with credit and portfolio management to maintain high standards.
- Provide expert guidance and support to your team in managing complex client relationships, successful deal sourcing and vetting, credit guidance, and deal structuring as needed.
