Job Description:

This job is responsible for supporting the Market Executive in driving out business strategy, directly managing financial advisors and yielding responsible growth through operational excellence and risk management. Key responsibilities include recruiting, retaining and developing talent, creating a strong sales and service culture, and coordinating across teams to deliver a seamless client and advisor experience. Job expectations include building collaborative relationships across the market and externally to grow market share.  

Responsibilities:

Executes components of the market business plan with a focus on advisor productivity, revenue growth.

Supports all aspects of talent development, engagement and retention to create a culture of opportunity, inclusion, and respect in a highly matrixed environment.

Coaches Advisors to consistently deliver an exceptional client experience by providing guidance, feedback, and support that reinforces a client-first culture.

Supports cross-functional collaboration by coordinating with Office Management Team and other internal partners to deliver integrated client solutions.

Promotes adherence to risk and compliance standards, supporting the ME in maintaining a strong control environment and appropriately engaging to escalate and/or remediate when needed.

Supports Market Executive as the regulatory supervisor of an office and/or group of financial advisors, working in partnership with Supervision and Control partners to oversee activities that require advanced licensing.

Represents the firm in local market (LMO) activities, business development efforts, advisor recruiting and community events to support market growth.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 8 years professional experience

Desired Qualifications:

•Series 7, Series 63 and 65 or 66, Series 9 and Series 10, and Series 31 or 3 is strongly preferred. Must be able to obtain within 120 days.  3 years direct or matrixed management experience preferredStrong leadership and communication skills with executive presence that garners attention and impact.Proven ability to lead people to perform through a poised, confident demeanor that commands respect and action.Agile learner with demonstrated resilience and ability to lead self and others through change.Experience influencing at scale, including associates outside of direct reporting line.Strong judgment and decision making, particularly on issues relating to risk management, talent, performance management, and problem resolution.Proven ability to manage multiple and sometimes competing priorities.Experience in unpredictable environments, including unplanned internal or external needs.Wealth management acumen, inclusive of product knowledge, regulatory and supervisory requirements, industry trends and firm-wide initiatives.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

Pay and benefits information

Pay range$170,000.00 - $215,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
