About the role:
As a Market Leader, you will build long-standing, positive relationships with intermediary clients that improve long-term holdings of Invesco products and services. Serving as the face of Invesco, you will be an integral part of fostering the client journey with a consultative, client first approach, to identify needs and get results. Territory coverage is Greater Seattle & Alaska.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Develop differentiated client relationships, including growing existing client relationships and developing new profitable relationships to reach maximum wallet share
- Approach all interactions as a consultant, starting with client needs and optimally using internal resources needed to meet those needs, including delivering insight-based education, mentoring, and portfolio construction consultations
- Develop and complete a data-driven client segmentation strategy
- Deliver product presentations to current and prospective Financial Advisors via telephone, WebEx, office visits, cluster meetings, seminars, and conferences
- Build and implement strategic travel rotation to cover smaller boutique firms across the country and clients in non-metropolitan areas
- Partner with the Division Sales Manager to create and implement a territory sales plan which is aligned with the overarching division plan
Requirements of the role:
- Series 7 and 63 required
- CFA, CIMA or similar certification a plus
- Undergraduate, college degree or equivalent work experience required
- Five or more years of sales experience in marketing investment products to financial advisors
- Technical investment expertise including outstanding knowledge of mutual funds, ETFs, SMAs and their competitive landscape and in-depth understanding of Capital Markets and the impact of economic factors
- Excellent listening skills with a natural inclination to focus on meeting needs coupled with strong presentation and interpersonal skills
- A digital and data-driven mentality to develop and carry out a strategic business plan, including the adoption of technologies that improve efficiency and lead to an enhanced client experience
- A growth mindset with a business-owner mentality
The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $75,000 year. The total compensation offered for this position includes salary and incentive pay and will vary based on skills, experience and location.
