About the role

The Market Research & Intelligence team is a strategic thought partner that helps the business make smarter, faster decisions by translating market, competitor, customer, industry, and broader macro signals into clear direction, risk awareness, and growth opportunities. Market Intelligence serves as an early-warning system for the business - identifying what is changing, assessing why it matters, and helping leaders understand what to watch and where action may be required.

What You'll do

The Market Intelligence Analyst sits within the Marketing organization on the Commercial Insights & Decision Science team, under the Global Market Research & Intelligence function. This role supports strategic business decisions by monitoring and synthesizing global market and competitive intelligence, as well as industry trends across primarily the US and Europe regions.

This role requires strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to translate complex information into meaningful insights that support product, commercial, and growth strategies.

  • Monitor and synthesize competitive, industry, and market intelligence signals across sleep health, respiratory care, digital health, pharma therapies, adjacent treatment areas, and emerging care delivery channels to identify opportunities, risks, and disruptive trends.
  • Track competitor activities and developments including product launches, innovation pipelines, clinical trials, FDA submissions/510(k) clearances, patents, pricing, messaging, partnerships, M&A activity, and emerging market entrants.
  • Conduct market sizing, segmentation, and growth analyses to assess market potential, adoption trends, emerging segments, and white space opportunities across core and adjacent markets.
  • Leverage syndicated and secondary intelligence sources including PitchBook, CB Insights, AlphaSense, public filings, earnings calls, payer databases, clinical registries, patent databases, press releases, and social listening platforms to gather and synthesize actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain automated intelligence monitoring capabilities using AI-enabled tools and workflows to proactively track key market signals, competitive threats, reimbursement changes, provider/HME consolidation trends, telehealth developments, and emerging innovation activity.

What You'll Bring

You are intellectually curious, investigative, and comfortable working with ambiguity. You follow a signal beyond the first source, ask what else could explain it, and know what evidence would confirm or challenge an emerging hypothesis.

You can move between detailed research and executive-level synthesis, translating complex information into concise, credible implications without overstating certainty. You take ownership of recurring deliverables and ad-hoc requests, build trust across functions and regions, and adapt quickly when priorities or evidence change.

You are also practical and experimental in your use of AI and automation. You look for better ways to monitor, analyze, and reuse intelligence, while maintaining source validation, human judgment, and responsible information handling.

You are comfortable supporting U.S./Americas and EMEA stakeholders, with meaningful overlap across U.S. Pacific Time and EMEA business hours and flexibility for occasional global meetings.

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated data storytelling capability.
  • Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint and intermediate-to-advanced Excel skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with market intelligence and secondary research platforms such as AlphaSense, FactSet, PitchBook, Capital IQ, CB Insights or similar platforms, news/industry monitoring tools, and AI-enabled research platforms.

  • Experience with data visualization/dashboard tools and/or basic quantitative analysis, market sizing, financial analysis, or competitive benchmarking.
