About the role:
Reporting to the Commercial Director, the Market Intelligence Manager is a key role where they will be providing valuable insights, information and data regarding the insulation sector, and wider construction industry.
What you will be doing:
- Providing strategic intelligence to aid and assist in the planning of marketing and commercial activities
- Preparing budgets and allocating resources, including commissioning of research when required
- Understanding and defining the positioning of ROCKWOOL in markets and research target sectors
- Compiling, monitoring and analysing the construction and insulation markets, along with relevant economic data
- Providing regular updates to the business on market and economic situation
- Setting up and managing internal intelligence and knowledge sharing processes and reports
- Tracking competitor results, movements and news
- Determining ROCKWOOL share in market segments and opportunities
- Supporting the development and implementation of sector strategies
- Understanding fit of ROCKWOOL products to sectors and providing gap analysis
- Attending seminars, conferences and customer meetings to gain deeper insights
- Identifying and engaging with key stakeholders in target sectors
What you bring:
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within construction
- Budget management experience
- Analytical skills (both quantitative and qualitative)
- High levels of attention to detail
- Good presentation and communication skills
- Degree qualified in a relevant field (Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing etc.)
