Based in Basel, the Market & Competitive Intelligence Manager drives strategic insights by analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and industry dynamics to support data-driven decision-making.
Key responsibilities:

Define and evaluate markets across Lonza BUs, ensuring strategic alignment.

Identify emerging business opportunities with commercial teams to drive growth.

Deliver insights on customers, markets, and trends while leading MI/CI initiatives.

Develop and implement market intelligence strategies to support decision-making.

Collaborate with strategic marketing and business intelligence teams.

Address key business challenges and shape initiatives for organizational growth.

Improve MI's impact across the organization by implementing standard methodologies and processes to drive innovation.
Key requirements:

3-5 years in Pharma/Biotech/CDMO

Strong scientific background in Biomanufacturing and drug development or equivalent experience

Strong analytical skills to manage complex datasets and extract key insights using advanced IT tools.

Strong communication and negotiation abilities to influence senior executives and customers.

Dynamic leadership style that fosters collaboration and proactivity.

Ability to encourage teams and drive innovation through a strategic, forward-thinking approach.
