Market Field Engineer & Specification – Underground Waterproofing Products

Job scope: (A) Specification management + (B) Product management

Scope A – Specification Management

• Focus on specific designer group: Structural Designers and Consultants, or specific architects/engineers who work primarily on basement/underground waterproofing.
• Effectively push Sika products into aforementioned customer groups, with measurable results (strong specification) and progressive reporting.
• Create/Prepare/Maintain all materials to fulfil requirements of customers in timely manner.
• Keep measuring and maintaining to have number of projects with Sika specified, enough in pipeline.
• Assisting specification manager to provide relevant trainings to specification team.

Scope B – Product Management

• Be an owner of engineering waterproofing product group, example – Waterbars, Integral Waterproofing Admixture, Waterproofing membranes, Waterproofing Liquid-applied membranes, Waterproofing Injections, Backup system, and some waterproofing mortars. You are responsible to topline growth, inventory-related working capital and contribution margin.
• Always be up to date on key product ranges and offering of defined key-competitors in the market.
• Manage product range, costs, supply-chain, and life cycle, making sure the product portfolio matches customer’s needs and always be competitive.
• Collaborate with marketing communication team to make sure we send the right and effective messages to the market and customers can access to necessary information/content conveniently.
• Collaborate with Target market manager to both internal and external training.
• Attend/Participate in any Sika training that necessary to keep yourself always up to date in Sika range, Know-how, and Practices

Qualification:   Civil Engineer or Mechanical Engineer

Experience:     1-3 years in construction management fields
                          Preferred fields: (1) Structural design, (2) Construction management, (3) Estimation, (4)                                            Consulting or (5) Underground/Tunneling

Skills:              Keen in construction process especially underground waterproofing, CAD, be able to write                                      engineering specifications appropriately, Good at presenting. Work under pressure, willing to learn,                          Proficiency in English communication is required/preferred.
