Job Description
- Implement together with the different stakeholders the EMEA Tunneling & Mining vertical Market strategy in your area and support the countries by implementing and roll-out and roadmap in the different areas / countries
- Sales Support: assist in increasing sales through project acquisition and relationship building with new and existing customers, positioning Sika as a reliable partner in the tunnelling and Mining sector.
- Technical Support: Provide advanced technical support for T&M products, including accelerators, admixtures, fibers, TBM, and injections. This includes field applications, troubleshooting, and solution finding.
- Training and Marketing: Conduct training sessions for Sika staff and customers, prepare standard presentations on T&M processes and technologies, and provide input on marketing actions to promote T&M products and strategies.
- He/she acts as regional counterpart for Global Tunnelling & Mining team and actively participates in coordination with Corporate level
Qualifications
- Bachelor or master’s degree in Chemical or Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar education with 5 Extensive underground experience with TBM processes, including all related products and technologies, particularly in injections. Understanding of mechanized tunneling and ability to meet customer needs
- Proven experience in executing complex projects as part of matrix organization and working with multi-cultural, remote teams
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills and ability to motivate and engage others
- Flexible for global travels in the area (approx. 50% of the working time)
