The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Market Data & Trading Product Manager to take ownership of the real-time and historical market data services that support trading, risk, valuation, quantitative, and analytics teams.
This is a senior, commercially focused role spanning market data vendors, exchange relationships, entitlements, infrastructure, licensing, and cost management. You’ll be responsible for ensuring users receive reliable, compliant, and cost-effective access to the data they need while helping shape how market data is delivered and governed across the firm.
Working closely with Trading, Technology, Risk, Procurement, Finance, and external vendors, you’ll balance business requirements, technical delivery, regulatory and licensing obligations, and commercial considerations across a complex market data environment.
What You’ll Do
- Own and manage real-time and end-of-day market data services across providers including Bloomberg B-PIPE, LSEG, ICE, and exchange-direct feeds.
- Oversee market data entitlements, user permissioning, exchange reporting, audits, and compliance with vendor and exchange usage policies.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, licensing, renewals, and market data spend, identifying opportunities to improve commercial efficiency and control costs.
- Partner with technology teams on feed handlers, tick capture, distribution platforms, latency, resilience, and the onboarding of new data sources.
- Resolve market data quality and delivery issues while maintaining a clear inventory of data usage across trading, quant, risk, and other downstream users.
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in market data within Capital Markets, gained within a buy-side, sell-side, or market-data vendor environment.
- In-depth knowledge of major market data vendors, exchange data policies, licensing models, and the commercial structures that govern real-time and historical data.
- Hands-on experience with entitlement platforms such as DACS or EMRS and market data inventory or expense-management tools such as MDSL, TRG, or Calero.
- Good understanding of real-time market data distribution architecture, feed technologies, tick capture, resilience, and latency considerations.
- Demonstrated experience managing vendors, commercial negotiations, stakeholders, and complex market data requirements across business and technology teams.

- SQL experience for analysing market data usage, entitlements, or operational information.
- Python experience for data analysis, automation, or market data workflows.
- Experience with cloud-based market data delivery or distribution platforms.
- Exposure to exchange-direct connectivity and modern market data architectures.
- Experience supporting trading, quantitative, risk, or valuation teams in a data-intensive Capital Markets environment.

Pay Transparency
The salary range for this position is listed below. Additionally, this position may also be eligible to receive an annual discretionary/variable bonus payment.

Skills Required
- Strong experience working with market data and reference data within financial services
- Product management or subject matter expert experience supporting front-office trading environments
- Experience working with Order Management Systems and Execution Management Systems
- Understanding of market data providers, data services, gateways, and associated trading technology
- Ability to collaborate across business, architecture, and technology teams and translate requirements into priorities
- Experience with providers such as CQG, UL, Bloomberg, or IDC
- Knowledge of data ontology, standards, and common data models
- Experience contributing to market data platform consolidation or transformation initiatives
- Understanding of target-state architecture and technology roadmaps
- Consulting experience within capital markets or financial services
