Position Overview
As Market Intelligence Analyst, you will play a key role in tracking and analyzing market trends, supply chain developments, and policy updates in the renewable energy markets across Asia, with a strong emphasis on China, India, Japan and Australia etc. You will provide insights into industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscapes. This role involves gathering, analyzing, and interpreting market data to support strategic decision-making, service development, and client advisory services. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure high-quality data reporting and market intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research on the renewable markets, including photovoltaics (PV), energy storage, and wind.
- Track industry trends, focusing on manufacturing, supply chain dynamics, and regulatory changes affecting the renewable energy sector.
- Conduct detailed industry and market studies, including benchmarking and comparative analysis.
- Maintain databases on key market players, manufacturers, and supply chain developments.
- Analyze and compare market players, assessing competitive positioning and market share.
- Develop and maintain benchmarking models for pricing, supply chain risks, and market share evaluations.
- Draft, edit, and publish market intelligence reports, whitepapers, and news briefings for internal and external use.
- Present research findings in a clear and structured manner, tailoring content to different audiences (e.g., clients, technical teams).
- Prepare presentations and reports for client advisory and project development.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and overall quality of market analysis services delivered to clients.
- Gather client feedback and collaborate with Sales and Advisory teams to improve customer satisfaction.
Key Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Market Research or related field.
- Native Chinese Speaker. Proficient in oral English, with strong writing capability.
- Expertise in market research.
- Minimum 3 years in the renewables industry and acting in the market analysis sector.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and market research tools.
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage and maintain relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Can-do attitude.
