SpaceX was founded under the belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars.
MARKET ANALYSIS LEAD (STARLINK)
Starlink is the world’s largest satellite constellation delivering high-speed, low-latency broadband to customers around the globe. As the Market Analysis Lead on the Starlink Enterprise team, you will own the analytical layer on top of our AI inbound routing agent. You will review and interpret Enterprise inbound demand at scale—not as a pure queue processor, but as a market and account strategist who finds patterns, surfaces expansion opportunity, and packages high-quality demand for direct sales and resellers. You will translate every inbound signal into clearer ICP guidance, smarter routing feedback, and more demand from the right accounts—so Channel Sales, Enterprise Sales, and our reseller network work the highest-value opportunities first.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own market and account analysis of Enterprise inbound demand, using the AI routing agent as the system of capture/routing while you provide human judgment on fit, quality, and opportunity size
- Analyze inbound patterns across verticals, products, geos, account segments, and reseller vs direct paths to identify where demand is converting—and where we should generate more
- Review accounts behind inbound leads to surface additional demand opportunities (upsell, multi-site, adjacent use cases, multi-thread contacts) and package clean handoffs to sales or resellers
- Own feedback loops into lead scoring, ICP definitions, AI routing rules, and qualification standards with Sales Operations, Data Engineer, and GTM Engineer—so the agent improves continuously
- Build and maintain lightweight market/account insight views (conversion by source, account demand maps) that help Channel Sales and Enterprise Sales prioritize
- Work with Sales Enablement and Channel Operations to turn insights into workflows, messaging, and reseller guidance
- Define success metrics for inbound quality and demand development (fit rate, expansion signals attached to handoffs, conversion after handoff, routing accuracy feedback) and report trends to sales and channel leadership
- Act as a trusted advisor to sales and channel leadership on which markets, accounts, and demand signals deserve more pursuit
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 4+ years of experience in market analysis, demand generation analysis, sales development, revenue operations, growth, or a related go-to-market function
- 1+ years of experience working inbound leads, lead qualification, account prioritization, or pipeline/demand analysis in a B2B environment
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Experience supporting Enterprise or complex B2B sales motions (ideally technology, SaaS, telecom, satellite/connectivity, or hardware)
- Proven ability to analyze lead and account data to improve conversion, routing, or demand quality—not only process individual leads
- Experience partnering with sales ops or marketing ops on scoring models, ICP definitions, or routing rules
- Comfort working alongside AI/automation tools (chatbots, routing agents, enrichment) while applying strong human judgment
- Strong CRM skills (HubSpot or Salesforce) and ability to build practical dashboards or insight views for sales leadership
- Experience packaging opportunities for both direct sales teams and channel/resellers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to turn complex account/market signals into clear handoffs and recommendations
- Data-driven mindset with experience defining and tracking KPIs (lead fit rate, handoff quality, conversion, expansion signal attach rate)
- Experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments with frequent product and GTM changes
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Available to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed to support demand spikes, product launches, or critical sales initiatives
- Willingness to travel as needed to support sales and channel alignment

SpaceX Insights
What We Do
SpaceX designs, manufactures and launches the world’s most advanced rockets and spacecraft. The company was founded in 2002 by Elon Musk to revolutionize space transportation, with the ultimate goal of making life multiplanetary. SpaceX has gained worldwide attention for a series of historic milestones. It is the only private company ever to return a spacecraft from low-Earth orbit, which it first accomplished in December 2010. The company made history again in May 2012 when its Dragon spacecraft attached to the International Space Station, exchanged cargo payloads, and returned safely to Earth — a technically challenging feat previously accomplished only by governments. Since then Dragon has delivered cargo to and from the space station multiple times, providing regular cargo resupply missions for NASA.
