The Associate Creative Director, Copy (ACD, Copy) works with teams of art directors, copywriters, and strategists to conceive and execute a variety of communication projects through a wide range of media. The Associate Creative Director is responsible for ensuring that design, copy and UX are greater than the sum of their parts and ladder up to strategic insights on all projects that they lead.

What you'll do
Deliver breakthrough creative work, while influencing your peers
Lead projects from conception to completion, including crafting outlines, first manuscripts per strategic and creative guidelines of the brand
Reference, annotate, prepare a document for editorial fact check and LMR review (preparing annotated, highlighted reference packs) based on client-specific and AMA style
Present to clients
Defend pieces at LMR meetings
Check changes during routes, resolving queries
Understand strategic and financial goals for clients and AH
Master the clinical data and competitive landscape associated with your brands/account
Actively participate in staffing and evaluating the scope of work
Champion creativity by frequently sharing inspiring work
Develop and/or strengthen client relationships
Share the spotlight so that junior creatives can shine
Manage delegation and workflow on multiple projects/brands
Empower others to reach their full potential
Manage multiple teams and multiple work streams efficiently, effectively, and profitably
Communicate actively with project teams to keep deliverables on track and on schedule
About you
Bachelor’s Degree in advertising, marketing, writing or equivalent area of study (preferred but not required)
Experience in market access/patient support writing preferred
Experience in leading teams and mentoring junior creatives
Minimum 9 years creative copywriting experience, with at least 3 years in writing for pharma
Pharmaceutical and/or medical device experience required
Demonstrates ability to direct writing and design of interactive, motion and print projects.
Strong customer service skills with a commitment to superior quality
Must be self-motivated, professional, detail-oriented, and possess excellent oral and written communication skills
Can share a digital portfolio that includes a wide range of interactive work across multi-media channels and platforms
Advanced PC or Mac experience with all Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office Suite
