Core Responsibilities
- Conduct black-box testing for new tool features and provide detailed feedback.
- Manage domain issue configurations, configuration files, and run batch issue creation/mutation processes.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries, scripts, and dashboards to track task progress and operational productivity.
- Use statistical methods to analyze data and produce insightful project reports.
- Identify opportunities to streamline operational processes and recommend solutions to enhance quality and productivity.
- Collaborate with advanced operators to test and validate process improvement hypotheses.
- Leverage GIS skills to support the geo data lifecycle, including ingestion, processing, and submission.
- Draft tool requirement documents (ORDs) and recommend system enhancements.
- Use programming and data science tools (e.g., Python, NumPy, Pandas, PySpark, TensorFlow) to develop algorithms that improve data processing and analysis workflows.
- Manage source code changes through version control systems.
- Triage, debug, and document complex issues affecting workflows, identifying and resolving edge cases.
- Promote tooling solutions across teams and projects to enhance collaboration.
- Utilize Machine Learning and AI outputs to optimize system tools and workflows.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in geospatial systems or a related field.
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python, SQL, JavaScript, JSON, and RegExp.
- Hands-on experience with GIS tools and frameworks like ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar software.
- Familiarity with data science packages (NumPy, Pandas) and frameworks (PySpark, TensorFlow).
- Experience in managing changes through version control systems like Git.
- Strong analytical and statistical skills for data analysis and report generation.
- Ability to prepare and present complex data in visually simple and intuitive formats.
- Proven track record of improving operational processes and implementing technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across teams.
- Adaptability to a rapidly evolving technological environment.
