Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is hiring for a Manufacturing Tech Analyst (Associate or Mid Level) to support the787 Flightline Manufacturing Engineering teamin San Antonio, TX. This position is for 1st or 2nd shift.
As a member of the team, the role acts as build plan owner writing work instructions and hands on assistance at the shop floor utilizing people, parts, tools, designs and processes to ensure a robust, reproducible and repeatable product to the factory team to include, engineering incorporation requirements, manufacturing shop assistance and build plan support.
Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate (Level 2) or Mid (Level 3) Manufacturing Tech Analysts.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collects and analyzes data to make recommendations on product or process improvements.
- Develops manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives.
- Develops tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering requirements.
- Performs troubleshooting of airplanes systems.
- Provides line side support for Operations.
- Manages projects using approved project management techniques.
- Coordinates improvements in engineering designs, manufacturing processes.
- Creates or approves supporting processes and related documentation.
- Assists with consultation and training on procedures and processes related to engineering and production.
- Performs technical and administrative activities to meet regulatory, production and process requirements in support of the manufacturing plan.
- Communicates with internal/external stakeholders to ensure products and services compliance. Works under general direction.
- Be flexible & adaptable in a diverse & demanding environment and work schedule.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
- 3+ years of relevant aviation experience.
- How many years of experience do you have interpreting technical engineering requirements?
- Comfortable in working in a ship side support, rapid reaction force role to support the aircraft build.
- Are you willing and able to work any shift?
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Level 3: 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1 or more years' of experience writing/interpreting aircraft work instructions utilizing People, Parts, Processes, Tools and Designs to complete a cohesive, correct and complete build plan and experience in running improvement projects in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) Environment.
- Knowledge of 787 build plan and Production structures, electrical installations or flight line experience.
- Knowledge and use of 787 Aircraft systems (i.e. ENOVIA, DELMIA, ETAC, IVT, CATIA, FTIC, FASTR, E-plan, REDARs and Boeing Change Process).
- Flexible & adaptable in a diverse & demanding environment and work schedule.
- Ability to interpret data and make recommendations for possible solutions.

Mid-Level: $90,950 - $123,500
