What you’ll do
⦿ Safety Leadership: Actively engage in safety improvements by building a culture of safety, coaching and modeling safe behaviors, respecting the environment, and promoting 6S behaviors. Perform accident and incident investigations to maintain a safe workplace.
⦿ Lean Manufacturing: Participate in Lean events focused on process management and safety. Implement manufacturing strategies and action plans to support Lean Manufacturing principles within the facility.
⦿ Operations Management: Lead the daily manufacturing operations in Melting and Finishing departments, coordinating manpower, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital to minimize costs and meet production targets.
⦿ Quality and Compliance: Develop, maintain, and assist with advanced ESCO quality systems, procedures, and practices. Ensure adherence to product standards and quality management systems compliant with ISO and ESCO Business Systems.
⦿ Team Development: Act as a coach and mentor by developing team members, leading problem-solving initiatives, and fostering a positive morale and culture within the team.
⦿ Performance Monitoring: Conduct regular audits and weekly observations to ensure compliance with standards and continuous improvement.
⦿ Travel Requirements: Minimal travel expected; primarily onsite at Plant 3.
⦿ Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.

What you’ll bring
Must-haves:
⦿ 3+ years of manufacturing experience as a senior Team Leader or supervisor.
⦿ Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and process improvement.
⦿ Strong analytical problem-solving skills and leadership abilities to handle difficult situations and conflicts.
⦿ Proficiency with MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice-to-haves:
⦿ Foundry experience is highly desired but not required.
⦿ Exceptional change management skills to positively coach and motivate teams beyond the status quo.
⦿ Experience enforcing quality management systems compliant with ISO standards.
⦿ Ability to work flexible hours as business needs require.
