As a Manufacturing Engineering professional at Baker Hughes, you will support the development, improvement, and execution of manufacturing processes for high-tech turbomachinery components. You will work with cross-functional teams to improve productivity, quality, safety, and operational performance, contributing to the introduction of new products, processes, and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development, optimization, and standardization of manufacturing processes to improve quality, productivity, cost, and cycle times.

  • Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and operational teams to ensure robust, efficient, and repeatable manufacturing solutions.

  • Contribute to the introduction of new products, processes, equipment, and technologies within the manufacturing environment (Production Cycles, CAD/CAM).

  • Analyze process performance, production feedback, and technical data to identify improvement opportunities and support decision-making.

  • Prepare, maintain, and update technical documentation, standards, work instructions, and process-related information.

  • Provide technical support to production teams to troubleshoot issues, reduce downtime, and ensure product quality.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and promote best practices across manufacturing activities.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company requirements.

To be successful in this role ideally you should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent proven experience.

  • Experience in manufacturing, production engineering, machining, or technical process support within an industrial environment.

  • Good technical understanding of manufacturing processes, process optimization, and industrial operations.

  • Knowledge of CAD/CAM systems, CNC machining, automation, robotics, or digital manufacturing tools is considered a plus.

  • Problem-solving mindset, analytical approach, and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to manage priorities, work independently, and support multiple technical activities.

  • Fluent in English and Italian.

The initial pay range for this position will be EUR 38,605 To 59,000.
he provisions of Contratto Collettivo Industria Metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti will be applied to this position. Section VI – Titolo IV of that collective bargaining agreement relates to pay.
