Texas Instruments is looking for an energetic engineer with a passion for quality, who enjoys helping others to succeed by providing team members and clients with support in a positive and professional work environment. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to, and develop expertise in working across teams inside and outside of one of Texas Instruments' fabs. The selected candidate will be given assignments and projects that are meaningful, challenging and that provide an outstanding experience, while contributing to the success of Texas Instruments.
Responsibilities include:
- Driving solutions to customer returns
- Interacting as a bridge between business unit quality team and the fabIdentifying opportunities for continual improvement and driving to solutions
- Leading small cross-functional teams that provides timely and accurate ';root cause'; and solutions to challenges facing the factory and TI
- Effectively communicating current performance, opportunities, and next steps in both internal and external forums
- Interacting and communicating daily with engineering peer groups inside and outside of the fab, and occasionally with external customers
- Being the primary contact for the fab with the business unit quality teams
Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or other related engineering degree
- Experienced hire with 5-8years experience in quality or engineering role (or combination of both) in semiconductor industry
- Proficient in program management, semiconductor process flow, quality systems like 8D, SPC, DOE, 7QC tools and Quality system audit
- Excellent communicator, ability to drive larger groups
- Experience with customer facing programs/work
