Torch Technologies is seeking a Manufacturing Project Manager to join a team leading, planning, and executing complex manufacturing projects from concept to final implementation in a prototyping and low‑volume manufacturing environment. This position supports manufacturing operations across commercial, aerospace, and defense systems.

As a Manufacturing Project Manager, your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:

  • Lead, plan, and execute complex manufacturing projects from concept through final implementation

  • Work within cross‑functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, Quality, and Suppliers

  • Develop and produce hardware solutions for commercial, aerospace, and defense applications

  • Manage overall project execution including customer interface, technical estimating, IMS development, project kickoff, outside vendor development, and final delivery

  • Create Bills of Materials from technical drawings or CAD models

  • Work independently with limited or no assistance in a dynamic environment

Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship

  • Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of related experience, including progressively responsible work managing projects involving mechanical manufacturing processes, equipment, and facilities (machining, welding, fabrication, assembly, integration)

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoW clearance (Secret/TS/TS‑SCI as required by contract)

  • Experience working with cross‑functional teams and multiple stakeholders

  • Experience estimating labor and materials for manufacturing projects

  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical instructions

  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Demonstrated knowledge of production planning and quality control principles in an AS9100 environment

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Project) or comparable project‑management software

  • Ability to work well in a fast‑paced team environment

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

  • DoW aerospace and defense hardware experience

  • PMP certification or equivalent project‑management certification

  • Engineering or technical background

  • Deltek Costpoint experience

  • Supplier management experience

  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems

Schedule: Fulltime

Work Location: Huntsville, Alabama
