Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for safety and quality minded Manufacturing Manager (Level K) to support the 737 Wing Manufacturing team in Renton, Washington on 1st shift.
We are seeking a dynamic and inspiring candidate who possesses exceptional interpersonal and coaching skills to help us cultivate a thriving One BPS culture within our business unit. You will play a pivotal role in delivering both good news and navigating challenging conversations with confidence and empathy.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to understand and maneuver through a complex organizational structure, leveraging connections to drive success. In our Manufacturing team, we prioritize a first-pass quality approach, and we are looking for leaders who are dedicated to the success of their team members. Our commitment to producing FOD-free products and maintaining a "Clean as You Go" philosophy is non-negotiable, reflecting our unwavering dedication to our standards, our people, and our customers.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing discipline
  • Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies
  • Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
  • Coaches, develops and motivates employees

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 3+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role
  • 3+ years of experience applying continuous improvement tools and techniques
  • 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office tools, primarily Excel (Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • 3+ years of experience developing presentations for senior leadership
  • 3+ years of experience communicating to employees, customers, peers and all levels of leadership
  • 1+ years of experience managing Key Performance Indicators within Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Manufacturing data
  • 1+ years of experience using Boeing Production System (BPS)
  • 1+ years of experience with REDARS

Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
Shift:
This role is primarily first shift; however, there may be additional shift requirements to support program objectives.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range:
$126,000 - $154,000
