Eli Lilly Italia is looking for a candidate to join the Manufacturing Finance department as part of a 6‑month extracurricular internship in the role of Financial Analyst Intern. The internship offers the opportunity to develop technical and business skills in a dynamic, international environment, supporting Finance operations at the Sesto Fiorentino site.
The Manufacturing Finance team supports site operations through activities such as cost control, cost analysis, investment management, and the development of digital tools to enhance decision‑making processes. The intern will gain exposure to strategic projects and cross‑functional collaboration, working closely with international teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Professional Services Tracking
- Development and maintenance of monitoring tools for service-related spending
- Periodic updates of reports and datasets
Cost Controlling – Capital Projects
- Monitoring project costs and variance analysis
- Support to potential applications for public funding
Capitalization Forms Process
- Collection, organization, and verification of data needed for investment requests
- Preparation of documentation supporting managerial decision-making
Digital Tools and Power BI
- Updating existing reporting tools
- Supporting the design and implementation of new digital solutions (dashboards, automations, data models)
Required Qualifications
- Completed Master’s Degree preferred
- Academic background in Economics, Management, Engineering, and Mathematics
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
- Familiarity with Power BI or other data visualization tools
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
