  • Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.

  • Establish and drive continuous improvement priorities in collaboration with Manufacturing Engineering and Operations leadership, ensuring alignment with operational objectives.

  • Lead cross-functional improvement initiatives utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other structured problem-solving methodologies to reduce waste and improve manufacturing performance.

  • Identify systemic bottlenecks and recurring production challenges, leading root cause analysis and the development of sustainable corrective actions.

  • Provide technical and functional leadership to cross-functional teams, guiding the implementation and adoption of process improvements.

  • Develop, implement, and standardize manufacturing processes, standard work instructions, operating procedures (SOPs), and visual management practices.

  • Establish and improve daily management practices, performance metrics, and accountability processes to support operational excellence.

  • Evaluate and implement Kanban systems, material flow improvements, and pull systems to optimize production efficiency.

  • Partner with Manufacturing Engineering and Operations to incorporate Lean principles into production layouts, equipment integration, process development, and manufacturing expansion initiatives.

  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process effectiveness, improvement opportunities, and the sustainability of implemented solutions.

  • Facilitate continuous improvement workshops, Kaizen events, and structured problem-solving activities involving cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Coach and support engineers, supervisors, and production teams in Lean methodologies, problem-solving techniques, and continuous improvement practices.

  • Provide technical expertise and recommendations to manufacturing leadership regarding process optimization, operational performance, and improvement priorities.

  • Ensure manufacturing processes and improvement initiatives are developed with a safety-first mindset, supporting a culture of safety, quality, and operational excellence.

  • Lead and coordinate continuous improvement initiatives across cross-functional teams and multi-site operations to promote standardization, knowledge sharing, and best practices.

  • Drive the adoption and long-term sustainability of process improvements through effective change management, documentation, training, and follow-up.

What you'll need, among other things!
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
