Are you ready to make a difference in the world of manufacturing? As a key player in our team, you will design, develop, and enhance manufacturing processes that not only meet product requirements but also prioritize operator safety. Your expertise will shape the future of our production methods!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safety First: Dive deep into product requirements and collaborate with equipment vendors to craft manufacturing processes that prioritize the safety of our operators. Your research and innovative designs will set the standard for excellence.

  • Quality Assurance: Establish robust manufacturing processes that incorporate poka-yoke solutions to prevent quality issues. You’ll design testing methods, evaluate finished products, and ensure our processes meet the highest standards.

  • Boost Productivity: Analyze workflows, space requirements, and equipment layouts using Kubota’s 5-Gen and KPS Principles to drive efficiency and enhance productivity across the board.

  • Data-Driven Decisions: Provide critical insights for manufacturing decisions by calculating production costs, reviewing schedules, and estimating future needs. Your analytical skills will guide our operations.

  • Project Management: Lead project-related activities transparently, overseeing everything from timelines and budgets to team coordination and vendor procurement. Your leadership will be essential for successful program implementation.

  • Reporting & Documentation: Collect, analyze, and summarize trends to prepare insightful product and process reports. You’ll also create and maintain vital process documentation, including standard operating procedures and technical specifications.

  • Continuous Improvement: Support our manufacturing goals by spearheading process design, optimization projects, and Kaizen initiatives. Your contributions will help us achieve safety, productivity, and quality targets.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Uphold our company’s reputation by ensuring compliance with government regulations. Your attention to detail will protect our integrity.

  • Preventative Maintenance: Collaborate with maintenance teams to establish preventative maintenance initiatives for new equipment, ensuring longevity and efficiency.

  • Policy Adherence and Improvement: Follow company policies while actively seeking opportunities for improvement. Your recommendations will help us grow.

  • Tooling and Fixture Design: Utilize CAD applications to develop and maintain design records for tooling and fixtures, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.

  • Training and Development: Implement new or revised processes by training technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

  • Stay Ahead: Keep your professional knowledge sharp by attending workshops, reviewing publications, and participating in professional societies. Networking is key!

  • Team Support: Contribute to a collaborative environment by supporting your teammates whenever capacity issues arise.

Qualifications:
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, with a focus on manufacturing.

  • Essential Skills: Proficiency in dealing with complexity, leadership, manufacturing methods, quality assurance, and presenting technical information. Familiarity with CAD and CAD/CAM circuit design is a must.

Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Experience with AutoCAD.
  • Background in engineering within the manufacturing sector.
  • A Master’s degree in a manufacturing-related engineering field is a plus.
Working Conditions:

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, walk the shop floor, sit at a desk, and operate both power and hand-held tools.
