Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Mobility, Surveillance and Bombers (MS&B) is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer for the B52 CERP Production Engineering team to support the technical statement of work in Oklahoma City, OK.
This position will be the main Manufacturing Engineer creating and planning work instructions.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Develops and implements production and tooling methodologies
  • Manages Master Tool List for the B52 CERP Program
  • Participates in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines
  • Creates Tooling Statement of Works supporting Manufacturing Engineering Team
  • Conducts producibility and variation analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirements
  • Assists in providing producibility information for inclusion in project plans and helps document producibility best practices
  • Analyzes Tool design/build concepts to evaluate producible design/build definitions
  • Resolves technical problems of significant impact to performance, cost or schedule
  • Coordinates and implements new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts
  • Validates and ensures Tools production readiness of solutions to complex problems
  • Implements lean principles and technologies
  • Reviews Tools requirements and approves new releases and revisions to existing designs
  • Translates design requirements Electronic Bill of Materials (EBOM) into Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM) to create and maintain part demand within the program production system.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Oklahoma City, OK.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • 3+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
  • Medium knowledge of MES, REDARS, GOLDesp, Microsoft Excel (medium to advanced skills), IVT.

  • Ability to interact frequently with internal personnel and external customers.
  • Ability to represent the organization by providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects
  • Ability to provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems, and develop solutions that are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives.
  • Advanced knowledge of REDARS, GOLDesp, Microsoft Excel (medium to advanced skills), IVT.

Summary pay range:
Experienced: $96,060 - $129,950
