Job Overview

The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems to optimize production efficiency while maintaining cost-effective and high-quality outputs. The role supports design for manufacturability, resolves technical production challenges, and ensures smooth introduction of new processes and products using Lean Manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate manufacturing launch for new or revised products
  • Create and maintain BOMs and routings for new and existing part numbers
  • Design and improve manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems to enhance efficiency and quality
  • Develop, test, and justify tools, machinery, and equipment for new or improved production methods
  • Identify and resolve production workflow issues such as bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and machine reliability
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing principles
  • Prepare facility layouts and equipment drawings using CAD software
  • Provide technical guidance and support to manufacturing and production teams
  • Recommend and implement improvements to processes, methods, and controls
  • Support quoting and order management processes with technical input
  • Develop and maintain technical procedures, reports, and documentation
  • Participate in problem-solving activities and root cause analysis

Skills:

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, machine design, welding, and CNC machining
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Understanding of SPC (Statistical Process Control)
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Basic knowledge of Six Sigma principles (certification is a plus)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • Mechanically inclined with attention to detail

Qualifications:

  • 0–2 years of experience (Fresh graduates are welcome to apply)
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or related field)
  • Lean Green Belt / Black Belt or Six Sigma certification is an advantage

Skills Required
