Responsibilities:
Lead the development and implementation of advanced manufacturing processes.
Lead cross-functional design reviews and DFM/DFA workshops to ensure product architecture is fully optimized for manufacturing and assembly.
Oversee the entire lifecycle of complex tooling, from initial concept and design to fabrication, validation, and implementation on the production floor.
Analyze and resolve complex manufacturing issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
Mentor junior engineers on best practices in tooling design, process validation, and manufacturing engineering principles.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering Discipline.
6+ years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering.
Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
Advanced proficiency with computer-aided design (CAD) software and process documentation.
Experience with Computer Aided Engineering tools.
Practical knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
Capability working in multi-disciplinary teams.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
Experience with automation and robotics in manufacturing.
Background in Aerospace and Defense industry.
Familiarity in applying and interpreting Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5.
Knowledge of industry standard design principles, to include, but not limited to, parametric design, model-based definition, material hardware selection, manufacturing and production processes.
Participation in dispositions of Non-Conformance generation through a Material Review Board (MRB).
Experience with new product introduction and transition to production.
Exposure to Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Manufacturing Execution System (MES), and Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) systems.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $85,768.30 - $117,931.40. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
