The Role

We’re recruiting a Manufacturing Engineer to drive electrical systems manufacturing excellence across the production of the Critical Loops product lines. This is a chance to help a growing company create the future of grid-scale battery storage while leveraging the latest automation tools that can minimize time-to-market.

What You Will Do

  • Responsible for the build and inspection process for the electrical assemblies and systems integration across the Critical Loop product lines

  • Develop, qualify, and refine manufacturing processes and subsequent work instructions to meet all design and business requirements, including safety, quality, efficiency, and delivery

  • Collaborate with other engineers, subject matter experts, and technicians to solve both internal and customer production challenges

  • Work with product engineering team to evaluate designs for manufacturability and implementation in a rapidly evolving production environment

  • Resolve product non-conformances and collaborate with the quality team to implement root cause corrective actions

  • Identify, plan, and execute capital equipment, machine, and layout upgrades to meet our growing production demand

  • Develop and refine floor layouts, capacity models, and product flow analysis to ensure on-time product delivery to our customers

Must-Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, manufacturing, aerospace, materials or industrial engineering

  • 5+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing or production

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with the build, assembly, or integration of low and high voltage assemblies

  • Knowledge of harness and electrical systems manufacturing techniques, processes, and equipment including wire processing and prep, termination, assembly and routing, and test verification.

  • Electrical component and/or tooling design and analysis experience using 3D CAD software

  • Experience with design for manufacture and assembly (DFMA)

  • Experience transition complex products from R&D to high-volume manufacturing in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience writing work instructions and procedures
