Manufacturing Advisor - Production Planning & Scheduling will have the responsibility of leading the global supply planning team, the implementation and execution of the Valves global supply chain planning strategy. Responsible for driving consistent, world class materials practices within the Valves Global Supply Chain to achieve on-time delivery of key global suppliers, inventory turns improvement, reduce excess and SMI, and minimize E&O impact to the business.
Key Responsibilities
Establish and maintain robust planning and delivery processes
Ensure consistent and correct implementation of planning processes across the organization.
Collaborate with Sales and Operations teams to convert demand plans.
Prioritize demand in alignment with business objectives and customer requirements.
Provide overall guidance and oversight for planning and delivery activities.
Coordinate and route orders across multiple manufacturing plants.
Manage and resolve order exceptions in a timely and effective manner.
Facilitate communication between Product Line, Sales, and Service Delivery teams regarding order timelines and status.
Optimize delivery planning to minimize inventory costs while maintaining high customer service levels.
Work with regional teams to adjust schedules as required (including order pull-ins and pushouts).
Ensure accuracy and integrity of order data within SAP, including management of aged orders.
Lead and develop the global planning team, including training, performance management, and career development.
Participate in global projects and provide support as required

To be successful in this role you will:
Have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
Have a minimum of 10 years of experience in materials planning and execution, as well as process improvements.
Have strong expertise in SAP, including MRP functionality.
Have a proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
Have demonstrated success in implementing materials and supplier processes that improve on-time delivery performance and inventory turns.
Have strong strategic thinking capability combined with effective tactical execution and a sense of urgency.
Have experience in leading and developing teams.
Have APICS or an equivalent supply chain certification.
Have leadership experience (direct, matrix, or through influence) with demonstrated capability in driving a positive culture, inspiring and developing people, delivering results, and demonstrating a growth mindset.
