Job Description
ARHS Group – part of Accenture – is looking for a Manual Tester with experience in testing translation workflow systems for one of its clients at the EU Institutions in Brussels.
Context
The client provides high quality corporate solutions/information systems, enabling the successful implementation of digital transformation efforts and policies.
In close collaboration with other services and customers, the client develops and maintains applications to support the management of translation requests, as well as language applications to support translators in their daily work.
These systems are being maintained, extended and updated on a regular basis by development teams working on premises and require extensive testing before any new release.
As a manual tester, you will contribute to the definition and ensure the implementation of a test strategy for the client’s in-house developments.
Role & responsibilities
- Defining, implementing and executing test scenarios
- Identifying and describing appropriate test techniques
- Identifying the appropriate supporting tools
- Defining and maintaining a Test Automation Architecture
- Specifying and verifying the required Test Environment Configurations
- Verifying and assessing the test approach
- Giving feedback to the development teams about the quality of their releases
Qualifications
Your profile
- University degree in Computer Sciences or relevant technical domain.
- Capability to work in a structured way and to communicate with developers and support staff.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to apply high quality standards.
- Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment on multiple large projects.
- Rapid self-starting capability and excellent team player.
- Ability to participate in multilingual meetings.
- Ability to understand, speak and write in English (C1) and French (B2).
- High degree of discretion and integrity is required as the applications managed and maintained contain personal and confidential data.
Technical skills
- Experience in testing translation workflow systems, outsourcing applications and computer-aided translation tools and their associated file formats.
- Extensive experience as an IS tester.
- Experience with the use of test automation frameworks and reporting tools.
- Broad knowledge of hardware and software installation and setup.
- Strong diagnostic, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills with technical audiences.
- Capability to write in a clear and structured way.
