Job Description:
We are looking for a Manual Test Engineer with 2–5 years of experience in software testing. The candidate must have strong experience in manual testing along with at least 1+ year of hands-on experience in API testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing of applications including functional and regression testing.
- Create and execute test cases and test scenarios based on requirements.
- Identify, report, and track defects using defect management tools.
- Perform API testing using tools like Postman or similar.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure product quality.
Mandatory Requirements:
- 2–5 years of experience in Manual Testing.
- Minimum 1+ year of hands-on experience in API Testing is mandatory.
- Candidates without practical API testing experience will not be considered.
- If a candidate has only theoretical knowledge of API testing, the profile must be reviewed and approved by the hiring manager before scheduling an interview.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Bug Life Cycle.
- Good to have in Manual mobile testing experience.
- Experience in writing test cases, test scenarios, and test reports.
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger, etc.).
- Good knowledge of HTTP methods, request/response validation, and status codes.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
