Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
Execute test cases for new and existing functionalities across web, mobile, or desktop applications
Identify, document, and track defects using the team’s defect-tracking tools
Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing
Collaborate with developers and QA leads to understand requirements and expected outcomes
Assist in creating and maintaining test documentation (test cases, test results, test plans)
Re-test resolved defects and verify software fixes
Report issues clearly and concisely, with supporting details or replication steps
Participate in team meetings, sprint ceremonies, and test planning activities
Qualifications
Basic understanding of software development and testing concepts
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
High attention to detail and willingness to learn
Ability to follow instructions and work in a structured testing environment
Collaborative team player
Good communication and documentation skills
Willingness to ask questions and seek clarification
Ability to adapt to new tools and processes
Curiosity and passion for improving product quality
Preferred (Nice-to-Have)
Exposure to software testing through coursework, internship, or personal projects
Familiarity with test case writing and bug reporting
Basic understanding of tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar
Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle)
Basic understanding of automation concepts (Selenium, Playwright, etc.) is a plus, but not required
