Reports To: QA Manager, IndiaThe RoleTrusted Media Brands is looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Manual QA Engineer with 0–2 years of hands-on experience testing consumer-facing websites, preferably built on WordPress or similar CMS platforms.
You will be responsible for validating the quality, functionality, usability, and responsiveness of our digital products across browsers, operating systems, screen sizes, and physical devices.
The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, comfortable using browser developer tools to investigate UI and functional issues, and have strong exposure to mobile and device testing.
We are also looking for candidates who actively use AI tools as part of their QA workflow. You should be able to demonstrate how you have used AI to improve activities such as test case creation, acceptance criteria review, exploratory testing, UI validation, test data generation, defect analysis, and overall testing efficiency.Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of WordPress and CMS-based websites to identify functional, UI, usability, content, integration, and compatibility issues.
• Validate WordPress functionality including templates, pages, posts, reusable components, plugins, forms, navigation, media, widgets, and other CMS-managed functionality.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, integration, UI, compatibility, and responsive testing.
• Test websites across multiple browsers including Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge.
• Perform comprehensive testing across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices, including both Android and iOS environments.
• Validate responsive layouts across different screen resolutions, orientations, browsers, and physical devices.
• Use HTML, CSS, JavaScript knowledge and browser Developer Tools to investigate UI issues, inspect DOM elements, understand network requests, identify console errors, and provide useful technical information in defects.
• Should have good knowledge of database testing.
• Review user stories, requirements, and Acceptance Criteria (AC) before testing and identify missing, unclear, negative, boundary, and edge-case scenarios.
• Create, enhance, execute, and maintain test cases and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, Designers, and other QA team members to clarify requirements and ensure complete test coverage.
• Identify, reproduce, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution.
• Create high-quality bug reports containing clear reproduction steps, expected and actual results, screenshots/videos, environment details, device/browser information, logs, and other supporting evidence.
• Perform regression testing for releases and validate fixes across applicable browsers and devices.
• Participate actively in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement/grooming, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Provide testing estimates, progress updates, quality risks, and meaningful QA inputs during sprint activities.

AI-Assisted Quality EngineeringWe are looking for someone who is comfortable adopting AI as part of modern software testing.
The candidate should have practical experience using tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or similar Generative AI solutions during software testing activities.
Examples of desirable AI usage include:

• Using AI to generate or enhance test cases and test scenarios
• Reviewing Acceptance Criteria and identifying missing requirements or test conditions
• Generating positive, negative, boundary, and edge-case scenarios
• Using AI to support exploratory testing
• Using AI to assist with UI testing and visual validation
• Generating test data and different combinations of input conditions
• Using AI responsibly to improve QA productivity, test coverage, and quality

Also, the candidate should also have:

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify subtle functional and visual defects.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to clearly communicate defects, quality risks, and testing results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a distributed Agile team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with fixed release timelines.

Education

• Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• B.Tech, B.E., B.Sc. Computer Science/IT, MCA, or equivalent qualifications are preferred.
• Candidates should have a good academic record.

Good to HaveExperience or exposure to any of the following would be an advantage:

• BrowserStack or similar cross-device testing platforms
• Postman and basic API testing
• Performance testing concepts
• AI-assisted test generation or visual/UI testing tools
• Basic knowledge of API testing using Postman is preferred.
