Managing Director – ANZ & Pacific

  • Lead a high-growth region in a global energy technology company

About Pixii

Pixii builds modular battery energy storage systems used by utilities, EV charging operators, and commercial and industrial customers to manage energy more intelligently, improve reliability, and create commercial value.

Headquartered in Norway, Pixii has more than 5,500 systems deployed across 15+ countries and is expanding globally. We combine power electronics, software, and system-level design to deliver practical solutions to real energy system challenges, not theoretical technology.

We are an ambitious company with a practical mindset. We move quickly, take ownership, and focus on results. Titles matter less than outcomes, and people are trusted to do their job.

The role

This is a senior, hands‑on MD role with clear commercial responsibility.

As Managing Director for ANZ & Pacific, you will have full accountability for building and scaling Pixii’s business across Australia, New Zealand, and the wider Pacific region. You will have the mandate to grow the business, develop the local organisation, and establish Pixii as a recognised and trusted player in the market.

You will:

  • Take full ownership of regional P&L, strategy, and execution
  • Build and convert a strong commercial pipeline into signed contracts and revenue
  • Develop a capable local team that can scale with the business
  • Build long‑term relationships with EPCs, utilities, developers, and key customers
  • Establish Pixii’s market position based on delivered customer value
  • Work closely with global product, sales, and operations teams

You report directly to the CEO and operate with a high degree of autonomy.

What you will be measured on

  • Revenue growth and deal conversion
  • Margin discipline and sustainable scaling
  • Strength and depth of local partnerships
  • Quality and effectiveness of the regional team
  • Execution, follow‑through, and delivery against plan

Who we are looking for

You are a commercially grounded leader who enjoys building a business in a growing, evolving market.

You bring:

  • Senior leadership experience with full P&L responsibility
  • A strong track record of developing pipeline and closing complex deals
  • Background from energy, infrastructure, industrial technology, or adjacent sectors
  • Solid financial judgement and commercial discipline
  • Comfort making decisions in imperfect or fast‑moving situations

You are also:

  • Straightforward and credible with customers and partners
  • Comfortable being close to the market and the numbers
  • Accountable, practical, and delivery focused
  • Able to earn trust quickly and lead without unnecessary hierarchy

Why join Pixii

  • Genuine autonomy and responsibility for a strategic growth region
  • Opportunity to build a business, not just manage an established operation
  • Exposure to a global leadership team and fast‑growing energy platform
  • A company that values execution, ownership, and commercial impact
