Your new role

As our new Managing Consultant, you will join our stellar team that supports clients with EHS and ESG. We are seeking candidates with business development talent to primarily support work focused on Mexico and LATAM.

For this role, your key responsibilities and expectations will be:

• Supporting and pursuing business opportunities
• Managing projects, clients, and deliverables
• Demonstrating thought leadership, through activities which may include presenting and publishing scientific findings, preparing client alerts or presenting webinars on relevant topics, and participating in local, national and international scientific, professional and trade group meetings
• Collaborating with colleagues across disciplines and business units
• Guiding staff in their careers and promoting staff development

About you

These include:

• Fully bilingual English and Spanish (only English resumes will be reviewed) 
• A bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in EHS related matters (chemical, environmental, mechanical, civil, geology, biology, etc.)
• At least 10 years of experience in EHS related matters including environmental Due Diligence, Equator Principles, EHS auditing and EHS permitting. 
• Possess in deep knowledge of multi-media environmental compliance topics and general understanding of Mexican federal and state regulations.
• Willingness/ability to travel up to 30% of the time on average during the year and possess a valid driver’s license and passport. Travel may include overnight stay and may be out of state or event requiring international travel. Travel duration is typically 1-2 days, depending upon the specific requirements of each project.
• The physical requirements of this position may include the need for climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing/sitting/walking, pushing/pulling, and lifting up to 40 lbs. In certain situations this position may expose the candidate to extremes in weather (hot/cold); high noise levels, to hazards such as a proximity to moving machine parts and moving vehicles, electrical current and exposure to chemicals. Employees may be required to take specific training and to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) on some occasions.
